Lately, my mornings have been a little quieter… and a lot more creative. I’ve been spending time working on new clipart designs and a growing collection of primitive printables—simple pieces that feel a little nostalgic, a little imperfect, and honestly… just really comforting to create.

There’s something about going back to these softer, more rustic styles that feels like settling in.

→  What I’ve Been Creating

Right now, my focus has been split between two things I’ve been really enjoying:

📌  Clipart designs
I’ve been working on a mix of whimsical and simple designs—some with a playful feel, and others that lean more toward that cozy, farmhouse style I always seem to come back to.

Think:

  • animals
  • seasonal touches
  • everyday little details

These are the kinds of pieces that can turn into so many things—stickers, bookmarks, tags, and more.

cPrimitive printables
This has been my favorite lately. I’ve been creating printable collage sheets, tags, and simple designs that feel a little worn, a little aged, and full of character. Nothing too perfect… and that’s kind of the point.

These are the pieces I always imagine being used in:

  • junk journals
  • handmade cards
  • scrapbooks
  • or even just printed and tucked into something special

→ Why I Keep Coming Back to This Style

I think what I love most about primitive designs is that they don’t try too hard.

They’re simple. They’re a little imperfect. And they feel like something you might have found tucked away in an old drawer.

That’s the feeling I’ve been chasing with this new batch of designs.

→ From One Idea to So Many Pieces

One of the things I’ve been leaning into more is creating designs that can be used in different ways.

One piece of clipart can turn into:

  • a set of printable tags
  • a bookmark
  • part of a collage sheet
  • or even a small piece of wall art

It’s been a really fun way to create with a little more intention.

→ Slowly Making Their Way Into the Shop

Some of these designs are starting to make their way into the shop now, and more will be added over the next couple of weeks as I keep creating.

I’m taking my time with it—no rush, just building a collection that feels right. If you enjoy simple, rustic, and a little bit nostalgic… I think you’re going to love what’s coming.

→ A Little Thank You

If you’ve been following along, reading, or supporting my shops in any way—thank you. It truly means more than I can say. This little creative space I get to work in each day is something I don’t take for granted.

If you missed my last post about Fresh Designs from the Studio, you can read it here—it ties in perfectly with what I’ve been working on lately.

Next week, I want to talk a little more about why I love primitive printables so much, and how I actually use them in my own projects.
