Christmas Crafting Starts Early: New Holiday Designs at SCC Digital Designs – Christmas may still feel a little ways off, but around here, Christmas creating has already started!
I’ve been spending time adding new holiday designs to SCC Digital Designs, and this year I’ve been having fun mixing several different Christmas styles. There are sweet gingerbread designs, old-fashioned Christmas images, printable gift tags, and some fun holiday clipart.
If you like to make your own Christmas gifts, tags, stickers, cards or paper crafts, now is a good time to start gathering ideas for the season.
New Printable Christmas Gift Tags
One thing I’ve been working on quite a bit lately is printable gift tags.
I love tags because they can be used for so much more than wrapping presents. Add them to a treat bag, use them in a junk journal, tuck one into a scrapbook page, or use them as part of a handmade Christmas card.
And sometimes the tag itself becomes part of the gift.
This year’s designs range from cute and colorful to more traditional vintage Christmas styles.
A Little Gingerbread Christmas
Of course, I couldn’t have Christmas without a little gingerbread!
The new Gingerbread Kisses designs have that fun, cheerful Christmas look I love. Gingerbread characters, hot cocoa, stockings and Christmas trees make them easy to use for all kinds of little holiday projects.
They would be especially cute for treat bags, cookie gifts, stocking stuffers or Christmas junk journals.
Christmas Clipart for DIY Projects
I’ve also been adding new Christmas clipart, including some very cute Christmas moose and other holiday designs.
Clipart is one of those things you can use in so many different ways. You can create your own stickers, tags, cards, scrapbook pages, labels and other paper crafts.
Sometimes I don’t even know what a design will become until I start playing with it—and that’s part of the fun.
Starting Christmas Projects a Little Early
I know it’s only the beginning of October, but starting early takes some of the pressure off later.
You don’t have to make everything now. Save a few ideas, print a set of tags, make some stickers, or gather the designs you want to use.
Then when the busy Christmas season arrives, you’ve already gotten a little head start.
And around here, that’s exactly what I’m doing.
Happy Creating🌻
